CAPPELLA VOLPE - PARIS - FRANCE
Architectural solution: GRASSI 1880 CAVE - architect Filippo Cichellero.
Location: Paris - France
Description: Chapel of an important Italian family residing in Paris for many years.
Linked from a friendship matured during the study of the order we were entrusted with the task of creating this structure from the "lawn".
We have therefore prepared the projects of foundations, reinforced concrete structure, cornices, pilasters, capitals, door and window contours, doors and windows, floors, external and internal cladding up to the desired roof covering with the same stones: Giallo Dorato and Bianco Avorio in bush-hammered and polished finishes which we have also taken care of installation.
Intervention as a whole in the Parisian area, it is the only private chapel of this type in the surrounding architectural context
The project starts from the constant dialogue with the owner who asked us to create a work that would enhance the link with the country of origin "Italy" and that would stand out for its elegance and refinement.
Volume, albeit modest in size, characterized by architectural details and materials that are typical of traditional Italian architecture.
The definition of the project represented a great challenge with respect to the urban / environmental limits to be respected and preserved, seeking adequate privacy through the careful location of the building
Finishes: all the finishes and furnishings are custom-made, tailor-made by GRASSI 1880 CAVE with obsessive attention to detail, to the research of products and trims. The selected stones are those supplied and worked directly by GRASSI 1880 CAVE, owner of the quarries of the Giallo Dorato and Bianco Avorio stones.
